These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your access to and use of the Techtegic Pty Ltd website, products and services.

References to we, us or our mean Techtegic Pty Ltd.

1. Agreement and Acceptance
1.1 These Terms apply when you:
- access or use our website at www.techtegic.com.au;
- purchase or use any products or services supplied by us;
- access or use any Zoho, Microsoft 365, Xero or other third‑party platforms managed or administered by us; or
- receive or engage with our marketing or communications.
1.2 By engaging in any of the above activities, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
1.3 If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
1.4 We may update or amend these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on our website and will apply from the date of publication. Continued use of our website or services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Services and Support (Service Level Agreement)
2.1 We provide professional information technology, cloud, software and business consulting services as agreed with you in writing (Services).
2.2 Support requests must be lodged via our designated customer service desk or other approved channels. Support is provided on a reasonable endeavours basis.
2.3 Response time targets (not guaranteed resolution times):

2.4 Business hours are 9:30 am to 4:00 pm (AEST), Monday to Friday, excluding Queensland public holidays.
2.5 Response times may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including third‑party service outages, customer delays, or force majeure events.
3. Fees, Estimates and Payment
3.1 Fees are as set out in an agreed estimate, statement of work, service plan or proposal. Unless stated otherwise, all fees are exclusive of GST and any other applicable taxes or duties.
3.2 We may issue invoices progressively or upon completion of services, as agreed.
3.3 Payment terms: Invoices are payable within fourteen (14) calendar days from the invoice date.
3.4 If payment is not received by the due date, we may:
- charge interest on overdue amounts at the Australian Taxation Office General Interest Charge (GIC) rate plus 2% per annum, calculated daily;
- charge a reasonable administration fee (currently $5.00 AUD per overdue invoice);
- suspend or restrict services until payment is received; and/or
- recover all reasonable costs incurred in connection with debt recovery.
3.5 You are responsible for all third‑party transaction fees, including credit card surcharges and foreign exchange fees imposed by your financial institution.
3.6 Nothing in this clause limits any rights we may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
4. Accounts, Security and Access
4.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of all account credentials, passwords and access details.
4.2 You must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your systems and accounts.
4.3 Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA): As a condition of receiving our managed services, you agree to maintain MFA on all core business and administrative accounts (including Microsoft 365, Zoho and similar platforms) where technically available.
4.4 You must notify us immediately at legal@techtegic.com.au if you become aware of any unauthorised access, security breach or suspected compromise of your account or data.
4.5 We are not responsible for losses arising from your failure to comply with this clause, except to the extent required by law.
5. Liability, Consumer Guarantees and Indemnity
5.1 Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees, rights or remedies you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the ACL that cannot be excluded by law.
5.2 If you are a consumer under the ACL and we fail to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited (at our option) to:
- supplying the services again; or
- paying the cost of having the services supplied again, except where the ACL requires otherwise.
5.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, for customers who are not consumers:
- all implied warranties, conditions and guarantees are excluded; and
- our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the fees paid to us for the relevant services in the preceding 12 months.
5.4 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, including where caused by third‑party platforms, telecommunications providers, software vendors or cloud service providers.
5.5 Indemnity: You indemnify us against all losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) arising from:
- your breach of these Terms;
- misuse of our website or services; or
- unauthorised access to or misuse of data caused by your acts or omissions.
6. Intellectual Property and Content
6.1 All intellectual property rights in our website, documentation, methodologies, branding, logos and content are owned by or licensed to us.
6.2 You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use our content solely for your internal business purposes.
6.3 You must not copy, modify, publish, sell, resell, sublicense or distribute our content without our prior written consent.
6.4 General information only: Information provided on our website or in communications is general in nature and does not constitute legal, financial or technical advice. You should obtain independent professional advice before relying on it.
7. Privacy, Data and Data Residency
7.1 We collect, use and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Where practicable, we prioritise Australian data residency. Customer data within systems managed by us is generally hosted in Australian‑based data centres; however, some third‑party services may involve offshore data processing.
7.3 By using our services, you consent to the handling of personal and business data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
8. Suspension and Termination
8.1 We may suspend or terminate services immediately if:
- you fail to pay undisputed fees when due;
- you breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within a reasonable time after notice; or
- continued provision of services would expose us to legal or security risk.
8.2 Termination does not affect any accrued rights or obligations.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where the failure or delay is due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power failures, industrial action or third‑party service outages.
10. Severability and Governing Law
10.1 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
10.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
